Der Bestand "Patentkommission der Zentralstelle für Gewerbe und Handel" enthält neben den Protokollen der Patentkommission von 1848 bis 1877 und allgemeinen Akten vor allem 2.361 Erfinderpatente von In- und Ausländern ab 1841. Digitalisiert wurden in erster Linie die Patentzeichnungen und zum Teil die Patenterteilungen.Bestandssignatur: StAL E 170 a.

The collection consists of a collection of porcelain (Europe, Bohemia, Jablonec region), stoneware (Europe, Bohemia, Jablonecko), the ethnographic objects, painted porcelain headers of pipes for smoking. It includes set of watches and clocks (Europe since the end of the 17th century to the 20th century) and furniture (Empire Style, Biedermeier, historicism).

The sub-collections can be divided into basic (costume jewellery, books and magazines, buttons, metal costume jewellery, glass costume jewellery, medals and plaques, numismatic collection, Sachs collection, glass, Riedel glass, arts and crafts) and supplementary ones (costume jewellery technology, graphics, clothes accessories, copies, special collections and Waldes collection with its sub-collections of buttons, fasteners and clothes accessories).

Collection of glass art includes artworks glass factory in Škrdlovice (Žďár nad Sázavou) and artworks of František Vízner and Jaroslav Svoboda.

The collection consists of two parts - historical glass collection and collection of 20th century (modern glass and design). Most of items is a production of Czech glasshouses but there are set of glass products from Germany and France.

This collection is focused on glasshouse company Josef Riedel Polubný, which includes both finished products and semi-finished products. Most of items are from the second half of the 19th and 20th century, Collection includes hollow glass, lamps and chandeliers.

Most of the collection of negatives is from the period around 1900, and from the studio of photographer F. Simma. The collection is a valuable source for the study of the history about Jablonec nad Nisou district. It contains examples of folk architecture Jizerské mountains, streets of Jablonec and the surrounding municipalities in the early 20th century. There are almost all important buildings, religious buildings, cottages on the Jizerske mountains or pictures of glassmakers.

Die etwa 1.500 Stücke umfassende Glassammlung umschließt den Zeitraum von 700 v. Chr. bis zur Gegenwart Alle in Venedig geübten Veredlungstechniken des 16. bis 19. Jahrhunderts sind mit herausragenden Beispielen vertreten. Deutsche Waldgläser des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts zeigen die typischen einfachen Gebrauchsformen. Eine größere Gruppe Gläser mit Emailmalerei des 16. bis 18. Jahrhunderts wurde in den Hütten Böhmens, Brandenburgs, Frankens, Sachsens und Thüringens hergestellt. Deutsche und niederländische Gläser in venezianischer Art und böhmische Zwischengoldgläser sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Den weitaus größten Bestand bilden die geschliffenen und geschnittenen Gläser des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts u.a. aus Sachsen, Brandenburg, Franken, Thüringen, Schlesien und Böhmen. Einfache geschnittene Gläser, Lithyalingläser, Farbgläser, Überfanggläser und Gläser mit Transparentmalerei, Bade- und Erinnerungsgläser des 19. Jahrhunderts, vor allem aus dem sächsischen, schlesischen und böhmischen Raum vervollständigen dieses Bild. Deutsche und französische Jugendstilgläser sowie Arbeiten der Wiener Werkstätten (z. B. Otto Prutscher, Mathilde Flögl und Vally Wieselthier) und Unikate (u. a. Ilse Scharge-Nebel, Halle) sowie Serienprodukte (z. B. Wilhelm Wagenfeld und Richard Süssmuth) belegen die Entwicklung der Glasgestaltung in der Moderne. Die Zeit nach 1945 wird mit individuell gestalteten und mit industriell hergestellten Gläsern aus der DDR dokumentiert. Gegenwärtig wird der Bestand vor allem mit zeitgenössischen Studioglasobjekten aus Deutschland, Skandinavien, Tschechien oder Nordamerika ergänzt.
