Abstract

Die Sammlung umfasst u.a. Digitalisate von archäologischen Objekten aus folgenden Museen in Ägypten: The Sharkea National Museum - Herriat Raznah, The Ismailia Museum, The Museum of the University of Zagazig.Die meisten Objekte stammen aus dem Bereich der Nekropolen der antiken Stadt Bubastis (ägyptisch: Per-Bastet, modern: Tell Basta), einer seit alters hoch bedeutenden Stadt im östlichen Nildelta. Darüber hinaus ist eine Reihe von anderen Fundorten aus der näheren und ferneren Umgebung bekannt, wie z. B. el-Husseinîya, Mit-Yaîsh und Tanis (modern: San el-Hagar).
