Abstract

Das bis heute als Standardwerk geltende "Bayerische Wörterbuch" wurde im 19. Jhdt. vom Mundartforscher Johann Andreas Schmeller verfasst. Der von Schmeller neu geschaffene Typus des Dialektwörterbuches fand zahlreiche Nachahmer.
