Abstract

The CD-ROM “Byzantine Monuments in the Information Society”, produced as part of the “Anna Komnene” project, presents the Byzantine monuments recorded and documented on the database. The presentation is structured round the selection of the monuments’ location. Each user can view a relevant information text accompanied by an image and plan and also a list of relevant bibliographical references and articles written by the people involved in the programme.
