Die Sammlung umfasst Digitalisate von Kleinfunden aus dem Gisa-Projekt. In Giza bei Kairo liegen ausgedehnte Friedhöfe des Alten Reiches (4.-6. Dynastie, 2589-2166 v. Chr.), der klassischen Pyramidenzeit Altägyptens. Sie wurden teilweise bis in das 4 Jh. n. Chr. weiter genutzt.
