Most of the collection of negatives is from the period around 1900, and from the studio of photographer F. Simma. The collection is a valuable source for the study of the history about Jablonec nad Nisou district. It contains examples of folk architecture Jizerské mountains, streets of Jablonec and the surrounding municipalities in the early 20th century. There are almost all important buildings, religious buildings, cottages on the Jizerske mountains or pictures of glassmakers.
